Apple: ‘Stay tuned’ for info on other Final Cut programs

During Apple’s Final Cut Pro X event last night, the other apps that make up the current Final Cut Studio software suite were noticeably absent.

This has led to loads of speculation. Some people believe most of these apps have been absorbed by FCP X, while others — including me — think revamped versions will be available as stand-alone apps in the Mac App Store, or even as in-app purchases via FCP X itself.

Jim Dalrymple at The Loop spoke with an Apple representative, who didn’t shed much light on the subject:

Today was just a sneak peak of Final Cut Pro, stay tuned.

More details are expected to be released as June inches closer.
