New MacBook Pro could be in stock sooner than expected

If you’re in the market for a new Mac Book Pro, and you’ve been holding out in an attempt to get your hands on the new model, you’ve probably been in a bit of a panic while rumors circulate that they could be delayed because of Intel chipset problems.

If this is the case, mark March 11, 2011, down on your calendar. It appears that Apple will have new MacBook Pro computers in stock and ready to sell at Best Buy that day.

There’s no official word, or announcement, from Apple regarding an actual ship day, but 9 to 5 Mac managed to scrape together a picture of Best Buy’s inventory system. Low and behold, New MacBook Pros on March 11th!

Okay, the picture doesn’t come right out and say “New MacBook Pros,” and it does have a dummy SKU number, but it’s looking pretty legitimate at this point.

When you pair this image with the rumors of the current MacBook Pro inventory drying up, it’s really only a matter of time until a new one ships.

But, there are some weird happenings with these screenshots.  The first one shows a March release day (above), but the second one, being used as proof of price, shows January 17, 2011, as the date the price is effective. You can see the price related one on their site by clicking the link below.

We should also point out that Intel is officially resuming shipments of their Sandy Bridge chipsets. So, we could actually see these MacBook Pros by March 11th.
