USB subwoofer from the team that put together the BookArc

Those cool cats over at Twelve South just released a product that I’ve never seen before, or thought about for that matter. They’ve put together a subwoofer that connects to your Mac via USB. I know what you’re thinking, you’re probably assuming that most people have a speaker set for their laptop, or computer, and that they don’t need something to clutter up the desk. As we move towards mobility with our devices, we’re going to be seeing a similar move towards technology that makes it simpler for us to get our mobile computing on, a USB subwoofer does that.

The speakers in your MacBook or MacBook Pro are pretty decent, but the bass response is obviously lacking. You can now fix that with the Bassjump. Pretty cool if you ask me.  They’re a little bit pricey at 79.99, but if you’re in the market for a subwoofer, then you might want to check out the BassJump.

As an aside, if you like the stuff Twelve South is doing they’ve been kind enough to donate their product lineup for our holiday giveaway.
