Everyone is a-buzz with what Apple might do next with their dock connector. For about a decade now, we have had the same 30-pin dock connector for iPods, iPhones, and iPads. Now, we're hearing of an 8-pin connector coming out of Cupertino. Apple's removed key file information from plist files in the latest beta version of iOS, and frankly, we can't help but laugh really, really loudly. In the past, bloggers would dive into these .plist files looking for vague and rumor-worthy mentions of future products like iPhone 6,1, or Apple TV 3,1, which they would then turn into a rumor post at some point. Today Apple sent out invites for their iPad event on March 7th. What does that mean? If you haven't heard by now, the iPad 3 is likely coming within the next two weeks, and that usually means leaked images will be popping up like a bad rash. Chinese tech blog M.I.C.gadget has published such an image. The photos focus on the back shell of the alledged new device. As you can easily deduce from the image, the iPad 3 could indeed be thicker than its predecessor, and it may have more of a tapered style. Google has published a listing of their top keyword searches from 2011. Out of the 10 fastest-rising global search trends, Apple holds three spots. At number six was the iPhone 5, number nine Steve Jobs, and number 10 is the iPad 2. DigiTimes is reporting that Apple is getting ready to release a new MacBook Pro that has an ultra-high resolution Retina display. Rumor has it that we can expect an Apple "iTV" next year in time for the 2012 holiday season. I say, bring it on! The best part? Sources at a major Japanese company who are supposedly tasked with manufacturing the TV believe that there will be three sizes marketed, ranging from 32-inches to 55-inches. Apple could sell more iPhones next year than years past according to an analyst. Another strong year is expected from Apple, so strong in fact that Bill Choi, analyst for Janney Capital Markets has Apple selling 27 percent more iPhones next year over this year, totalling 107 million shipped devices.
