Apple continues to roll out Retina ready application icons in OS X, which many expect is heralding the fact that Apple is gearing up to release Retina displays for the Mac.
Apple Insider found further evidence that Apple has increased the resolution of its TextEditor application, along with some other apps:

AppleInsider is reporting that Apple is currently hiring new staff for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa divisions of AppleCare, and they're looking to train the staff in Apple's OS X 10.8 operating system. Most of us can't afford one iPad per child, so it doesn't come as much of a surprise when we hear that a lot of people are concerned that there are not user accounts in iOS currently. A simple login system would go a long way towards alleviating the problems of children having access to financial apps and other sensitive information like email. With Intel and other PC manufacturers looking to take a chunk out of Apple's MacBook Air sales with their cheaply priced – and cheaply manufactured – Ultrabooks, word on the street has Apple thinking about lowering the price of its introductory MacBook Air.

If you thought the iPhone 4 was as ugly as sin when Gizmodo published photos before it was released, you're going to absolutely hate today's iPhone 5 rumor from iLounge. According to iLounge, the device is going to be taller, thinner, and have an ugly-ass semi-metallic backplate.

Apple may be looking to take password generation out of its Keychain Access application in 10.7, and instead add a password generation utility, much like 1Password, directly to Safari in Mountain Lion (10.8).
According to MacRumors, the latest developer build of OS X Mountain Lion and Safari 5.2, the app now includes a Passwords preference pane:

The Korea IT News is reporting that Apple's next generation iPhone, labelled the iPhone 5, will leave behind the glass based design, and instead be made from a liquid metal alloy of zirconium, titanium, nickel, and copper. The material is called Liquidmetal. Apple was awarded a full patent for the technology back in 2011. At the time it was expected that the Liquidmetal alloy would be used only for internal parts.
