Well if this isn't great news to start out the week then I don't know what is. Belkin and LEGO just announced a new partnership to create "innovative and fun" accessories for mobile devices. Starting in the Spring of 2013, Belkin will launch a number of smartphone cases that feature both Belkin's quality design and LEGO bricks for a "buildable" case experience. Recently we reported that Cisco was kicking around the idea of selling off its consumer branded networking division. It seems like the company has finally found a dance partner in Belkin. Early reports suggest that Belkin will keep the Linksys branding, and continue to sell devices under that banner. Belkin has just dropped eSATA support as well as the price tag of its Thunderbolt Express Dock. The price has been dropped back down to its original price of $299. Belkin's Thunderbolt Express Dock was quietly introduced in September of 2011 and made an official debut as a prototype at CES 2012. A little over a week ago, Belkin announced that it was the first official Apple partner to market Lightning-enabled accessories. When Apple first revealed the new Lightning connector, people started wondering if they would need to upgrade all of their accessories or use one of Apple's adapters.
