Low Macbook Air Stock Suggests Updated Model To Come At WWDC
It seems as though Apple is prepping to unveil a new version of the Macbook Air at next month's WWDC. This conclusions comes after almost every major store is reporting that they no longer have any stock of the 13-inch default high-end Air that comes with a 1.8GHz processor and 256GB of flash storage. One of the most telling signs of an upcoming new Apple product revision is when the current stock for that product starts drying up at stores. Show Folder Sizes In Finder Once And For All
If there's one thing that leaves me scratching my head with OS X's Finder, it's the lack of a display for the size of folders and subsequent files within them. It drives me crazy. Yesterday, on LifeHacker, there was a snazzy little tip that turns on the size readings and I thought I'd pass it along. Open a Finder window Switch to List View Click on the Gear icon Click on Show View Options in the menu Check the box titled, 'Calculate All Sizes' Why this isn't on by default absolutely boggles the mind.

Adium Concept Looks To Reinvent Chatting On The Mac
Chat applications have undergone a huge transition over the last decade. We've gone from AIM and MSN to Facebook Chat, Gtalk, and Skype. The one thing that hasn't seemed to change all that much, excluding Facebook, is how these applications look and feel. When it comes to the Mac, we've got two options: Adium and Messages. One of them is hard to look at and the other is hard to use because it hardly works properly. Dawid Liberadzki and Oskar Krawczyk got sick of how Adium looks and feels ... more

Before today, the storage options you could choose for the iMac weren't too hot. On the 21 inch iMac it was previously impossible to get only a solid state drive inside it.
