MacBooks generally get decent battery life, however, sometimes Apple accidentally produces laptops with a faulty batteries. While the "About This Mac" menu on your Mac can provide some information on your Mac's battery, the Condition status can often be skewed, and the cycle count doesn't do much good if you have nothing to compare your cycle count to. The Apple TV is a great entertainment device at a low price. It already does a lot, but Apple is apparently adding two more features to make the Apple TV even better. In the most recent Apple TV beta, Apple has added the ability to stream music via an iTunes Radio app. iTunes Radio was announced last week at the WWDC 2013 keynote. Canada is looking for a fourth company that could come in and disrupt the Canadian wireless market, which currently has some of the world's highest cellphone prices. Verizon is interested in being that company. Verizon would buy one of the country's small and struggling wireless companies, either Wind or Mobilicity, before then expanding its presence buy purchasing a number of new wireless spectrums from the government. The company would then go up against the nation's big three companies: Bell, Rogers and Telus. While Microsoft impressed a number of people with the opening of its flagship store in Palo Alto last year, complete with a Maroon 5 launch party, Apple seems to think that the company has had enough time in the spotlight. Apple is currently hard at work on the construction of what is said to be a visually stunning retail store, right by Microsoft's impressive Palo Alto location. Recently, we told you about a $20 million partnership deal that Samsung had offered rapper/business man Jay-Z. At the time, it wasn't clear exactly what the details surrounding this deal were, but now it seems we know at least part of it. Samsung has announced that it will be giving away 1 million copies of Jay-Z's upcoming album "Magna Carta Holy Grail" to its Galaxy phone owners, and that they will also be receiving the album three days before its official release date. The folks at Kotaku have published a photo of the first "Made for iPhone" game controller. This controller is apparently produced by Logitech and looks to follow the design guidance images that Apple released alongside iOS 7, the first version of iOS to support hardware game controllers. This is due to the fact that the controller houses a circular D-pad, a pause key, and four action buttons. While a beta version of the new feature has been around since February, today marks the day that all Skype users can take advantage of Skype's video messaging service. The feature lets users send up to three minute videos to anyone on their contacts list, even if that user is offline. The new update is available on both the desktop version of Skype as well as iOS and other mobile platforms. The official Steve Jobs biography by Walter Isaacson will be released on paperback on September 10, 2013. This news has come out of Simon & Schuster, the book's publisher. Though this paperback will be mostly the same as the readily available hardcover and eBook, the publisher has stated that the book will be given an afterword that was not included with previous versions. As of now, the price of the book is still unknown, though we're expecting it to be cheaper than that of the hardcover. With the Facebook event just around the corner, people have been speculating about what "big ideas" the company is planning to announce. Well, it looks like Facebook could unveil a new feature for its Instagram service that would let people take and share short videos, similar to the Vine app. It's really just a rumor at this point, but according to TechCrunch, this could be one of Facebook's announcements at the event on June 20.
