Keep Your iPhone Sleek And Protected With The AL13 Case
I love the thinness of the iPhone 5, but hate how fragile the device can be at times. Though I don't drop my iPhone often, it has happened, and the only thing that has saved my mobile connection to the world is my case. As a frequent iPod, iPhone and iPad user, I've gone through my fair share of cases and have come to the conclusion that most of them are either bulky, flimsy, or just plan ugly. However, Designed by M aims to fix this issue with its new ... more

Use All Of Your Internet Connections At Once With Connectify Switchboard
Like most on-the-go technology enthusiasts, I have multiple ways to connect to the web. I have my iPhone, my 4G USB card, and whoever's free internet access I happen to be mooching off of at any particular moment. However, living in an urban environment,  all three of these connections can get really slow at times due to data congestion. This can in turn make me unproductive and forced to deal with a slow connection. However, what if there was a way to combine these three connections to make a decently fast ... more

Keep Your iPad Hip And Protected With The Bowden
Though I'm usually not a huge fan of iPad sleeves, there are a few that really stick out from the crowd. One of these sleeves is the Bowden by the folks at FineGrain, a relatively new startup that focuses on iPad sleeves. The Bowden is a sleeve that is handcrafted from a mix of leather, aircraft grade aluminum and wood, giving a hip and minimalistic look. The Bowden's design is quite unique. To insert your iPad into the case, you'll have to flip open the leather front flap and slide your ... more

If you're an avid cyclist, chances are you carry a U-lock to keep your bicycle secure when running into the grocery store or your favorite coffee shop. Turns Out The iPad's Smart Cover Can Kill, Turns Off Implanted Defibrillators
It turns out that Apple's innovative Smart Cover might be more dangerous than its colorful appearance would tell. 14 year old Gianna Chien has done a study proving that the smart cover's built in magnets have a high risk of turning off implanted defibrillators for those with serious heart problems. If someone with one of these devices inside of them falls asleep with their iPad on their chest, it could potentially turn off their defibrillator, putting them at serious risk. Even Police Can't Decrypt An iPhone Without Apple's Help
The security software Apple uses to protect its iPhones is good. Perhaps too good. The devices are allegedly so hard to crack that police need to go to Apple themselves to retrieve information from them. Sometimes Apple can put these police on waiting lists that last for over a month until they can finally get the information they want. Read the full story over at CNET.

This USB Cable Works With Lightning, 30-Pin, and Micro USB devices
I love my gadgets, but carrying around three different cables to charge and sync my Lightning, 30-pin, and Micro USB devices can get annoying. However, the folks at iPhone 5 Mod have recently developed a USB cable that has attachments to work with both Lightning and 30-pin devices as well as standard Micro USB devices. This cable is essentially a standard Micro USB cable with a Micro USB to Lightning adapter and a Micro USB to 30-pin adapter. Stay Wireless With The mySpot
If you're a frequent traveler, you've probably found yourself in a hotel with free wired Internet access. While this is nice if you have a MacBook Pro sans Retina Display, you're SOL if you have a MacBook Air or a Retina-equipped MacBook Pro. Sure, you could buy a Thunderbolt or USB to Ethernet adapter, but then you're tethered to the wall. However, Kanex aims to fix this issue with the mySpot: a tiny wireless router that reroutes any ethernet connection wirelessly. The mySpot is powered via USB and is ideally paired ... more
