Whatever we post, you’ll be able to find it right here.

Looking to get into developing for iOS? Knowing where to start, especially when you plan on teaching yourself, can be quite the chore. Trust us — we’ve tried numerous times, but until we found someone to help us, it was quite the pain in the backside.
We have a deal on an iOS Foundation Course from Udemy to help our readers get a solid start on C Programming for iOS and Objective C. These two beginner courses are a great way to start, and we managed to get you guys a 60 percent discount (retails at $198).
If you’re interested, and you should be, mobile programming skills can be a great asset, the courses will set you back $79.00, which is a lot cheaper than enrolling in a community college to learn this stuff.
That’s a stork. Ever seen one before? I haven’t, either. But you know who has? Macgasm Editor-in-Chief Joshua Schnell, who was graced with his first daughter Monday morning at 8:45 AM. Aletha Grace Schnell rang in at a respectable 8.05 pounds and sports a dramatic head of dark hair and her father’s delicate, girlish facial features.
We’ve been working pretty hard at getting our site listed in some of the major iPhone and iPad reading applications over the last couple of months. Today we’ve got some big news for all of you Pulse, Flipboard, and FLUD News fans. Starting today, you can get Macgasm in all three of those applications without having to add our RSS feed manually. We’re featured, baby.
I had a theory when these apps launched, and it remains a point of interest for me until this day: What’s the point of having an iPad application in today’s day and age when we can just get ourselves into some awesome news applications that can provide a better experience than we ever could on our own.
Here’s how you can quickly get us into these three HUGE applications. By the way, all of these applications are free, and fantastic, so there’s hardly any excuse for you to not add us to these readers (we’ve added download links at the end of the post).
Here’s how you add us:
Pulse
Click the gear on the top-left corner of the application.
Click the + button.
Search for Macgasm, we’ll be a “Featured Source.”

Tap done.

We’d like to briefly thank every one of these services for the hard work and support. It means a lot that we’re being included, and we’re certainly grateful that they’re letting us put our content in front of you in a variety of different formats.
You’re busy. We get that. Getting your Macgasm news can be difficult at times, but don’t fret: we’ve put together a mailing list that sends out our weekly roundup every Wednesday directly to your inbox.
Sign up. We’ll love you forever… not that we don’t already. Plus, it lets you get around those stupid web filters at work.
Note: We’re going to be doing some really cool things with the mailing list in the upcoming weeks. Think exclusive giveaways, sneak peeks at apps, and all that extra fun stuff.
When my friend Joshua Schnell, Editor in Chief of Macgasm, believes in something, he throws himself into it and he’s not afraid of a fight. I’ve tried to get him to calm down, I swear, but he tends to go into every situation ready for action. One thing I hope he never does, however, is back off from something he feels sure of, even if he’s the only one. A journalist’s bankability is his reputation for telling it like it is, even in the wild frontier of Internet blogging. When Josh started making noise about OS X 10.7 and its issues, I paid attention… because if there’s one person who’s watched the long timeline of OS X releases closely and critically, it’s him. As I got my own hands dirty with the latest of Apple’s Mac OS upgrades, I found myself seeing what Josh saw, and I said so.
I was honored to be a guest on Enough — The Minimal Mac Podcast this week. Check out the newest episode, in which I talk with friend of the site Patrick Rhone and our own Myke Hurley about BBQ and the very small number of apps I have installed 64 GB SSD MacBook Air I just bought. Oh, and I called Josh a Dark Overlord. Which he is still sad about.
Enough is a great podcast. It’s even better when I’m not on it. It is more than deserving to be tossed into your favorite podcast app.
