Worth Reading: TechCrunch Talks With Early Apple Watch Users

So this one is all credited to “people who have worn the Apple Watch”, so you’ll need to take it with a grain of salt. TechCrunch’s Matthew Panzarino  spoke with with some Apple Watch testers and learned a bit more on how they use it.

On the watch’s notifications:

“Here’s a tidbit you might not know—in order to receive notifications from apps, the Watch must be on your wrist and locked. The Watch requires contact with your skin to receive notifications.”

On the watch’s target market:

“And that is the target market of the Apple Watch. Not “rich people” (though there’s a model specially for them), not “tech geeks” and not “Apple fanatics.” It’s people who want more time, and that is a very large target.”

There’s a lot of good stuff in there about the exact function of the interface. All of this hints at how Apple is going to market the watch, but we’ll have to wait until Monday to be sure.
