Apple TV Software Gets A New Look, Beats Music Channel

As you update all your iOS devices today (or whenever you get to it), don’t forget to check Software Update on your Apple TV. Alongside iOS 8, Apple released a new version of the Apple TV system software, according to MacRumors.

This latest software update gives the Apple TV a refreshed look: Icons appear flatter and brighter, taking cues from iOS’s look and feel. Also new is a Beats Music channel and support for Family Sharing (which lets you share items you purchased from iTunes with other members of your household).

The Apple TV update is free; all you need to do is go to Settings, select General, then select Software Update.
