Reeder 2 For Mac Beta Released Into The Wild

It’s been a long time coming, but it looks like its day in the sun is finally here. Reeder for Mac has been updated and version Beta 1 is available for download right this second. Feedbin, Feedly, Feed Wrangler, and Fever are all supported this time around.

It feels good to be back in my RSS reader of choice. I have no idea if it’ll stick for me this time around, but it’s certainly nice having familiar tools for navigating the news again. The app is designated as a beta, but it’s pretty polished and crash free at this point.

The biggest sticking point right now is the lack of service integration. The beta has a minimal selection (reading list, chrome, twitter, Facebook, email, etc), but they have noted that more services will be added to Reeder later.

I’m holding my breath for Evernote.

The download is free, so we’re not going to waste your time by providing commentary where it’s not needed. Go give it a try.
