Facebook For iPhone Updated To Version 4.0, Gets Support For Groups

Facebook has updated its Messenger app for iPhone to version 4.0, bringing with it a couple handy new changes.

The biggest new feature is the addition of groups support, which allows users to easily message their Facebook groups from one handy list. It also allows users to create and manage new groups, so that they no longer have to accomplish that through the desktop app.

Another new feature in the update is the ability to forward messages on to other friends.

Here’s the complete change log for the new update:

Groups: Now you can create groups for the people you message most. Name them, set group photos and keep them all in one place

Forwarding: Want to send a message or photo to someone who isn’t in the conversation? Just tap to forward it

Plus, continued improvements to make the app faster and more reliable

What are you waiting for? You could be off forwarding messages to your Facebook friends right now!

You can download the latest version of Messenger for free from iTunes.
