If you’re a fan of the Apple TV, your favorite little box was just given quite a bit more exposure.
Apple has updated its online store to include a dedicated section just for the Apple TV, removing the need to dig through accessory menus to find it. From the Apple TV page, visitors will now also see big links for Apple TV accessories, community Q&A, AppleCare, as well as refurbished Apple TV models.
It’s a welcome change for Apple’s media streaming device, which previously seemed as though it were perhaps being neglected. Some are speculating that this is being done in advance of a big new Apple TV product reveal, but it’s impossible to say for sure.
It does seem like an odd time to just finally launch this page now, so perhaps something new will be hitting soon. Or maybe Tim Cook just felt bad for the little guy.
