Firstly, the update includes totally redesigned user profiles, which better presents a user’s information and what he’s been listening to recently. Another cool feature added with the update is s sleep timer, which allows users to set their phone to stop playing Rdio after  15 minutes to 2 hours of inactivity.

The app has also finally been updated to utilize the iOS 7 keyboard, having still included the iOS 6 keyboard until now.

Here is the official description for update 2.5.4:

What’s New in Version 2.5.4

  • New Profile. Your Rdio profile has a whole new look, with your picture right at the center. Visit a friend’s profile to see their last-played track and quickly and easily play their FM station.
  • Sleep Timer. Set Rdio to stop playback after a period of time, ranging from 15 minutes to two hours.
  • Various UI improvements and minor bug fixes.
