YouTube Co-Founder Pissed As Google+ And YouTube Comments Integrate

Youtube co-founder and uploader of the very first YouTube video Jawed Karim isn’t too happy about the new comments system YouTube launched two days ago.

“Why the f*** do I need a Google+ account to comment on a video?” Karim wrote today on his YouTube page.

Two days ago YouTube implemented a new comments system designed to improve how comments get ranked, with the hopes of making better comments more noticeable. Part of the new system, however, requires users to attach their YouTube profiles to their Google+ accounts. This decision didn’t seem to sit well with at least one of YouTube’s original creators.

Check out the comments section on some YouTube videos if you want to see the new system.
