Pop Puts Links Shared On Twitter In Your Menubar

Love the links, but hate the people? Pop is for you. A new app from Neil Kinnish manages to scrape links shared by your followers on Twitter and then publish a link directly to your menubar for easy access, thereby removing the need to constantly hang out on Twitter.

Clicking the link icon will take you out of the application to your default browser. Pop also lets you retweet a link directly from within the application.

Simple and really useful.

The application is currently free, but you’ll need OS X 10.8 because it takes advantage of the operating systems built-in Twitter tools.
