LinkedIn Launches New Way To Stay In Touch With New Contacts App

In the coming weeks, LinkedIn will invite select users to try out Contacts on LinkedIn.com, but today LinkedIn has launched a stand-alone app for the iPhone, called LinkedIn Contacts, which is a much better way to stay in touch with those who matter.

LinkedIn Contacts brings your address book, e-mail accounts, and calendars all into one place with the power of your LinkedIn network. LinkedIn Contacts brings a number of new features that makes staying in touch easier and smarter.

LinkedIn Contacts brings all your address books, e-mails, and calendars all in one place. It will automatically pull the details from these sources and past conversations and meetings and bring it directly to your contact’s profile.

You will be alerted to job changes and birthdays of contacts in your network, which is a perfect way to stay in touch. You can also set reminders and add notes about the important people in your life.

You can easily review your most recent correspondences with a contact so you can see where you last left off with someone. You can also discover more about who you’re meeting with so you can be prepared. You can even sort your contacts by recent conversation and filter by company or location so it’s easy to find contacts.

LinkedIn is now available on the the App Store as a free download.
