Apple’s iPad Is A Tough Nut To Crack, Even After Hitting It With A Hammer

It’s a plane! It’s a bird! Oh wait, it’s an.. iPad? This might have been the thought process of a Georgia woman who saw something come flying at her while driving only to discover later when she parked that an iPad was wedged into the front of her car bumper.

“I kind of hit the brakes and stopped but I didn’t feel anything, didn’t see anything, so I went about my day,” she said.

The woman says she saw something come her way but never heard an impact. Turns out the iPad was stuck so tightly in the bumper that she needed a hammer to get it out.

When she finally got the iPad out she was able to open an app to find the owner’s name and phone number so she could return his iPad to him.

The owner had apparently left the iPad on the roof of his car and, forgetting it was there, drove away. It’s pretty impressive that the iPad was still working after getting jammed into a car bumper and being hit with a hammer.
