Listening to the evolution of the startup chimes one right after another is pretty amazing. The subtle changes and nuances from one chime to another is phenomenal. It’s pretty easy to overlook them every time a change happens. I couldn’t even being to imagine how much time and effort went into getting the chimes right for each new iteration.

CBS News has released some previously unaired footage taken from its 60 Minutes interview with Bill Gates earlier in the week. The new footage shows Gates getting teary-eyed when discussing his final meeting with the then very ill Steve Jobs. Gates says that in his last meeting with Jobs, the two talked about retrospective things like “what we’d learned”, as well as conversations about things like family. Jobs was also excitedly showing Gates the plans for his yacht that he was having built, although the former Apple CEO never got to see it finished. Gates states that Jobs didn’t seem
If you were to think of all the things you could write a Steve Jobs/Steve Wozniak graphic novel about, you’d likely never come up with the concept for Steve and Steve. They talk about anything from braiding hair to lesbian witches, all providing for a trippy yet entertaining experience. The

With the new 5G platform, users will be able to download data at speeds of up to tens of gigabits per second (Gbps). Compare this to the current 75 megabits per
A new report from Reuters is suggesting that Pegatron has begun eating into Foxconn’s orders. “Fellow Taiwanese manufacturer Pegatron wants to grab more orders to assemble the fast-selling iPhone and iPad from the California-based tech giant. Analysts say Pegatron offers more competitive pricing – at the expense of lower margins – and appears to be succeeding in pulling in more orders from Apple.” The article also suggests that it may have something to do with increasing costs from Foxconn, and then in the next breath mentions wage increases and improved working conditions as a reason why Foxconn could be losing
Today Groupon has launched a new app for mobile payments called “Groupon POS.” The app will allow merchants and businesses to accept and manage payments directly from an iPad. The Groupon POS app will rival other similar services, like Square’s Register app. It’s a “beautiful and simple way to manage your business and accept payments at the lowest rates available today.” Merchants and business owners can quickly set up offerings, check out customers, and view real time analytics. The app also works with an optional cash drawer and printer to automate and make points of sale easier. Groupon POS will
