Google Ad Promotes iOS Mobile Apps Team, Doing “Things That Matter”

Google recently launched a web ad campaign that promotes its iOS mobile apps development team and invites iOS developers to join the team and “do cool things that matter.”

In the ad, Google points out its successful and popular apps that have made their way to iOS devices, including Google Search, YouTube, Google Chrome, and Gmail. Google Maps is probably missing because the ad was made before it was released. Google’s biggest point with this ad, though, is to recruit software engineers for its iOS mobile apps team.

The ad also links to a Google jobs page that promotes what it’s like to be a member of Google’s iOS mobile apps team. It includes an interview with a member of the team that develops the Google Search app for iOS and also has a link for software engineers who want to join the team.

Even if you don’t really care about Google trying to recruit developers, the whole ad really goes to show Google’s presence in the iOS arena.
