Popular ‘Lucky’ Bags Making Yearly Appearance In Japan

Apple’s Lucky Bag sales, a yearly tradition at Apple stores in Japan, will begin January 2nd. The loot bags, which will be on sale for $390 USD, will include a bunch of random Apple products including iPods, iPads, and in some rare cases even MacBooks.

If you’re feeling lucky, and you live in Japan, you’re gonna want to head down to the store as early as possible, because people are known to line up for these things. Lines can get pretty long, and the Japanese actually treat this thing much like the Americans treat Black Friday in the U.S. Potentially walking away with a new MacBook for a couple hundred dollars makes it mighty worth it.
