Apple Adds Galaxy Note 10.1 And Android 4.1 To Ongoing Samsung Lawsuit

Today, Apple told judge Paul S. Grewald that they would like to add the Galaxy Note 10.1 to its ongoing lawsuit against Samsung. Apple is also trying to add Android 4.1 “Jelly Bean” to the current lawsuit. These additions come just a couple months after Apple filed complaints against the original Galaxy Note and Galaxy S III in the United States. The addition of Jelly Bean to the list could show that Apple may be attempting to start a full scale lawsuit against Google, something that hasn’t happened yet. This case is set to go on trial in 2014. Hurrah!

It’s worth noting that this case isn’t the same as the Apple vs. Samsung trial that took place over the summer, though this patent suit is under the purview of Lucy Koh, the same judge who oversaw the previous case that saw Apple take home a cool $1.05 billion dollars for its efforts.

Samsung also has an ongoing lawsuit against Apple as Apple is apparently violating UTMS patents that are owned by Samsung. Obviously Samsung added the iPhone 5 to the case early last month, because why not…

Anyone else tired of this crap? Honestly? It seems like it’s never going to end. Personally, we’d prefer if this garbage ended sooner rather than later. We’re tired of playing lawyer-blogger with this junk.
