Tip: You Can @-Reply People On Twitter Directly From The Contacts App

Did you know that Mountain Lion’s (10.8) Contacts application lets you view your friends’ Twitter timelines, and reply to them directly? The fine folks over at Wired realized that if you right-click on the Twitter account listing in a contact, you can both Tweet your contact and check out their timelines on Twitter’s website without ever having to go searching for them online.

Right-clicking on the “Twitter” title brings up two options: first, it brings up the ability to @-reply your contact; second, you can have contacts open up their Twitter timeline in your browser of choice.

Super handy for those moment when you need to get a hold of someone and they’re most likely to reply on Twitter.
