Yesterday, Apple finally announced the product we’ve all been waiting for: the iPhone 5. The new phone comes with a host of features that make it faster, thinner, brighter and better than the iPhone 4S. But is it?
Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel took to the streets to see how people would react to news of the new iPhone 5. He sent a camera outside and told people to check out the new iPhone 5 (which isn’t actually out until September 21), but what people were really looking at was an iPhone 4S. The people’s reaction to a phone that most of them already own is pretty comical. One guy looks at it and says it’s “way better” than the iPhone 4S, and another weighs his own phone in one hand with the “iPhone 5″ in the other and says it’s much lighter.
Overall, people thought the “iPhone 5″ was faster, thinner, and brighter, which is exactly what Apple says it will be. Not one person in the video realized that they were actually holding the iPhone 4S.
