Steve Jobs’ iPad Was Used By A Clown After Robbery

Kenneth Kahn or “Kenny the Clown” was a friend of Kariem McFarlin, the man who broke into the late Steve Jobs’ house and stole over $60,000 worth of Apple devices, jewelry and personal items. Among those items were three iPads, one of which was given to Kenneth, the neighborhood clown. The clown said he used the iPad as a part of his entertainment routine, playing songs like the the Pink Panther theme song as well as Michael Jackson tunes. After McFarlin was arrested for breaking into the Jobs’ residence, Kenneth willingly gave up the 64GB iPad to the police to be returned to the Jobs family. Kenneth Kahn said the following about the iPad:

It would be like getting a football from Joe Montana that was stolen out of his house. It’s bizarre; it’s really bizarre.

When asked about McFarlin, Kahn said the following to Mercury News:

He’s a nice guy who made a horrible, horrible decision, I wish I could ask him: ‘What were you thinking?’

When Kenneth received the iPad, he figured that it was an old device that McFarlin wasn’t using anymore, so he had no reason to be suspicious when taking the device.
