Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes Will Arrive For Mac On September 6

Earlier this summer, Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes was released for consoles, mobile devices, and Windows. But, now Apple fans can be excited about this game too, because on September 6 it will arrive on the Mac, according to Feral Interactive.

For the first time in a Lego game, it will include voice acting and dialogue. The game will feature Batman and the rest of the Justice League, including all of our favorite super heroes like Superman, the Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and Flash, alongside the greatest villains, like the Joker, Lex Luther, and Catwoman.

Players can choose the identity of any super hero and explore the first ever open-world structure in a vehicle, on foot, or by actually using superhero powers like Superman’s ability to fly or Flash’s super-speed. The game features music from the movie by John Williams. It can be played in single-player mode or drop-in and drop-out cooperative play.

The Joker and Lex Luther team up to wreak havoc and brings chaos to Gotham City and develop a new weapon called the Deconstructor. Along the way, they release all the villains from the Arkham Asylum. It’s up to Batman, Robin, and the rest of the Justice League to save the city from the evil plans of these villains.

Lego Batman 2 requires an Intel Mac with a 128MB or better discrete graphics card, at least 2 GB of RAM and OS X 10.6.8 or later. The ATI X1xxx series, NVIDIA’s 7xxx series and Intel GMA chipsets are not supported.

When it’s released on September 6, the game will go for $30 and be available through various digital download sites, like Feral’s own store and the Mac App Store. Let the countdown begin!
