Dejero is the company behind LIVE +, which is a portable broadcasting system that lets reporters deliver live HD or SD video using a cellular, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet connection. Now, Dejero is turning this technology into an iOS app, called LIVE + Mobile App, that will turn any iPhone 4S or iPad into a live action broadcasting camera so users can let loose their inner news reporter.
The Dejero LIVE + Mobile App lets users broadcast live HD or SD video using an iOS device. It uses Dejero’s patent-pending bonded cellular technology that combines both Wi-Fi and cellular connections to broadcast live video footage at the best possible quality. The app also makes use of the front and rear-facing cameras, so a single reporter can shoot himself and the action he sees in front of him in a single video using just the iPhone.
CTO of Dejero, Bogdan Frusina, says “This technology allows them [reporters] to be first on a news scene and bring high quality live footage back to their viewers that previously would not have been possible.”
This app has great potential for both professional and amateur reporters, as it is easy to access and doesn’t require a lot of set up or crew. Check out Dejero’s website to learn more about this technology.
Dejero LIVE + Mobile App is available for free in the App Store, but requires a Dejero LIVE + Broadcaster server.Follow @macgasm
