The Apple versus Samsung trial is turning into a joke more than anything else for a lot of people in the tech community. Now, even the late night talk shows are starting to take an interest in the ridiculousness of the trial. Conan O’Brien aired a parody of Samsung Vice President, Nick Wood, who tells viewers just how different Samsung products are from Apple products.
Nick Wood starts by showing Samsung products like the Galaxy smartphone and tablet side-by-side with Apple’s iPhone and iPad and says they “bear no similarities to Apple’s,” when they actually look very similar. The video continues to make fun of Samsung’s copying ways by having Nick Wood dress up like Steve Jobs and talking about Samsung’s innovations with a number of joke products like the Mac-Rowave Oven, the Vac Pro Vacuum, and an iWasher with “scroll-wheel controls.”
The video is pretty funny and offers a different perspective on the whole trial, one that doesn’t take it too seriously. What do you think of the video?
