Apple managed to sneak out an update for their podcast application sometime between my falling asleep last night and waking up this morning. It seems that the company has squashed some bugs, improved stability and performance, and added an unplayed counter to your podcast listings. The app also now remembers your playback speed, among other things.
If you’re using the app, make sure you hit up the App Store and update your applications.
