Evernote’s Mac Client Gets An Update

With the acquisition of Penultimate just days ago, we figured we’d be seeing an Evernote update sometime in the near future. Turns out, today’s the day, which is a lot sooner than we would have guessed. Evernote has updated its OS X application to include a new Card View, a word and character count, a new information screen, a “save all attachments” menu option, and a new date and time stamp shortcut.

The biggest part of the update is the all new Card View. The new view actually looks quite a bit like the iPad version of Evernote. Its goal is to give you quicker access to information about your content without forcing you to interact with each “card.” There’s also a new Card View action bar that gives you even more flexibility in organizing your cards and the information that is presented.

If you’re into Evernote, you’re going to want to check this one out.
