OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion Developer Preview 3 Released

OS X 10.8, code named Mountain Lion, has hit another milestone with a third developer release being seeded today among (wait for it…) developers. If you are just such a developer, you can grab it from the Apple Developer Center with a code via the Mac App Store, as it does not automatically update from the store itself. According to TheNextWeb, one of the biggest issues with the Mountain Lion beta is the Messages app, which is an OS X version of the iMessages app you’ll find on your iOS 5 equipped iOS device. The web has been buzzing with complaints about this app, which does handle messages decently but creates an issue with iCloud message syncing on your iPod, iPhone or iPad (specifically, every time you send a message on OS X Messages, your iOS device notifies you with an alert, which could eventually drive you insane).
