New iPad stays at $499, iPad 2 drops to $399

Are you on a budget? Well, good news. You can now pick up last year’s iPad — the iPad 2 — for only $399 USD. The sad part is that last year’s iPad is still a better deal than brand new Android tablets today.

Even better, the new iPad remains at the same price point previous iPads have been. It will cost you $499 for the base Wi-Fi-only model with 16 GB of space, $599 for 32 GB, and $699 for 64 GB. If you want the 4G LTE models, that will be $629 for 16 GB, $729 for 32 GB, and $829 for 64 GB. Considering how much better the new iPad is, it is amazing how they were able to keep the price the same.NewImage

What version are you going to pick up? Is LTE a good upsell for you? Sound off in the comment section below this post. We’d love to know what you plan on getting.
