Apple is the world’s most admirable company according to executives

Apple is a lot of things. It’s a half-trillion dollar company. It’s larger than the global coffee industry. It’s worth more than all the illegal drugs in the world. It’s worth more than the Great wall of China. Do you know what else it is? It’s the most admired company in the world – for the fifth time. In a yearly survey done by Fortune, business communities are asked which company they admire the most. Their answer(s)? Apple, Apple, Apple. With this fifth win, the tech giant is now tied with General Electric for the most wins. With the new iPad 3 on the horizon, I wouldn’t be surprised if they win 2013, 2014, and 2015.

Other companies that made the top ten most admirable list include Google, Amazon, Coca-Cola, IBM, FedEx, Berkshire Hathaway, Starbucks, Procter & Gable, and Southwest Airlines. But hey, second place is the first loser, Google. Whoops, did I say that out loud?
