Just so he knows, you can back up your saves to iTunes or iCloud for all of your games. On iTunes connect your device, right click the name if your iPad/iPhone/iPod under the Devices category on the left hand side of iTunes and then click backup. On a Mac you might have to press the Control key while clicking the mouse to do a right click. To back up with iCloud, go to Settings, iCloud, Storage and Backup, turn on iCloud backup and press Backup Now.
