Ring in the Chinese New Year with Apple

The party’s not over yet in Asia. To celebrate the upcoming year of the dragon, Apple is holding a one-day sale on January 6th in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand. If you’re going to be buying something from Apple for a loved one this lunar new year, you might as well take advantage of this upcoming sale.

Keep in mind, Apple sales aren’t usually very dramatic. Traditionally, you can expect savings somewhere in the 10 percent range, so don’t expect blow-out sales like some other retailers do during the holidays. If you keep that in mind, I think you’ll be happy with the price tags that are similar to US sales during Black Friday.

So, do you plan on celebrating the lunar new year with something shiny? Sound off in the comment section of this post with what you’ll be picking up. We love hearing from our readers all over the world, and we want to hear about your plans.
