iTunes Match on iOS, for you international noobs

iTunes Match on iOS, for you international noobsJosh just asked me how you get that iTunes Match goodness in your iPhone, so I thought I’d quickly share that with all of you.

Fire up the Settings app and tap Music. You might have to wait a few seconds for it to check your Store account and see if you’re subscribed, but there will be an iTunes Match setting. You’ll get a little warning that isn’t actually so little. It’s going to wipe out all of the music on your device. Yeah, don’t do this in an airport or anything. Make sure the “Show all music” setting is on too, so you can see everything and download it.

You can download the tracks manually, or as you stream a song. iTunes Match will save the song in your library so you can listen offline later.

We're testing out a new service called Spread.Us. Help us share our stories!
