Apple has updated its holiday shipping deadlines today, letting the entire world know when they need to purchase products in order to have their packages arrive before Christmas.
Not all products are created equal, with some products having a bigger purchase window than others.
- iPad: December 19th
- iPod: December 19th
- iPhone 4S: Too late.
- iPhone 4 and 3GS: December 19th
- Custom Mac: December 14th
- Stock Mac: December 19th
- Apple TV: December 19th
All products, expect the iPhone 4S that is shipped with Apple’s next-day shipping charges, have until December 21st to get the orders in on time for a Christmas Day delivery. The iPhone 4S orders had to be in by December 4th, so you’ve already missed the deadline for having the phone delivered on time for Christmas.
No worries though. I’m sure a photo of an iPhone 4S and a nice note would suffice for the Apple geek on your list.
