Keeping track of your appointments and daily activities are hard enough as it is without a calendar. Inputting these events could be a lot easier, and in fact, it is easier with Fantastical.
Fantastical, reviewed by Susan back in September, has recently been updated to version 1.1, bringing with it iCloud syncing capabilities, as well as the ability to edit notes from directly within the application. Fantastical also now has CalDav support so you can work in Fantastical without having to run iCal simultaneously to sync your calendar information to you iPhone or iPad.

Apple Board Member Al Gore (a man once known as the Vice President of the United States) spoke today about his memories of Steve Jobs, saying that the co-founder and iCEO of Apple did not want everyone asking “What would Steve do?” after his passing. Jobs succumbed to cancer on October 5th, and many high-profile personalities have come forward to share their memories of him, as Gore did today at the AsiaD Conference in Hong Kong.

One of the challenges of iOS is how to manage several users for the same device, but it looks like Zite’s iPad app and the feature called “Sybil” may have a solution. Sometimes an app drops into the iOS App Store that really makes you ask, “Why didn’t Apple bundle that into the OS?” The story typically ends up with Apple buying out the company or straight up “borrowing” the concept for the next iOS iteration (see Siri and Volume Button Picture Taking). Such is the case with Our Pad, by Ghori Networks.
Our Pad aims to solve the biggest problem with sharing an iPad: lack of user accounts. The app bottles up your user accounts for Facebook, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, and Twitter into a pseudo user-profile. [...]

International iPhone 4S shipping day is October 28th, 2011, but that hasn’t stopped Apple from taking pre-orders a full week early. Apple’s international webpages for the iPhone 4S are now taking pre-orders, so users can pre-order and get a shipping estimate well ahead of the typical launch day rush.
As it stands, shipping dates range from one to two weeks from today, but who knows, you could get your hands on the device a little bit early if you pre-order. Heck, if you don’t pre-order, you could be waiting a little longer than everyone else who is pre-ordering already.
Get on it. The iPhone 4S is fantastic.
