Ubisoft bringing a whole buncha games to iOS

Ubisoft seems to be bringing Christmas a little early to iOS gaming fans as they announce plenty of titles on the way for iPhone and iPad: Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars, Assassin’s Creed: Recollection, Prince of Persia, Assassin’s Creed: Rearmed, Michael Jackson: The Experience as well as some lesser-known titles such as Rabbids Go HD and Rabbids Go Phone Again, and a new title called Monster Burner.

According to PocketGamer, the titles are poised to drop some time in November though there will be some stragglers that we won’t see until early 2012. Interestingly, some of the titles draw off new franchises and new products (such as the Assassin’s Creed entries) but some of them reach back a little further, like Prince of Persia, which hops into the wayback machine and delivers the ollllllld Prince of Persia action (as re-developed for the Xbox Live, however). Personally I prefer the old-timey game, as the movements and animations were taken from old Douglas Fairbanks movies. It not only gave the game a unique feel (remember, this was the era when Tetris was just starting to really break out), but it was also one of the first games with really unique and “life like” in-game animations.

Keep an eye on the App Store next month and get a taste of that classic as well as several other awesome titles from Ubisoft.
