If you’re anything like me, I almost always charge my iPhone on my Mac or speaker dock. That said, I can never find the USB wall plug Apple ships with the iPhone.

The guys and gals at ThinkGeek seem to have solved this problem for me.

Conan sticks it to Final Cut Pro X on-air

Sure, Final Cut Pro X can be seen as revolutionary, a step forward into the digital age, and as the embodiment of the next generation of video-editing, but people using those types of phrases seem to either be consumers, prosumerists, or journalists. Ask a video-editing professional their thoughts on the update, and you might very well be met with a lot of expletives, and confused looks.

Reports out of Taiwan have indicated that Apple has not only moved away from Philips for their LED flash products, but that they may have also turned to three companies to provide dual-LED flash systems for the iPhone 5 (4S).

According to DigiTimes, Apple has turned to Everlight Electronics, Edison Opto, and Lite-On Technology as potential suppliers for the next iPhone 5 flash.

You’re probably asking yourself the exact same thing I did: what’s the catch? No catch, the game is free for all. All you have to do is download Steam, and then download Team Fortress 2, and you’re off to the races.

One of the most anticipated features of iOS 4 was its wireless printing feature, dubbed AirPrint. The service allows users to print directly from iOS devices. AirPrint was supposed to utilize any printers shared by Macs on the same local network as the iOS device. While this feature was cut before release, third party applications do exist to enable it. Despite AirPrint not being as powerful as it once was, HP has not stopped adding new AirPrint printers to the fray.

Photo correction Apple files patent for correcting camera tiltToday, Apple filed a patent for technology that will correct photos with perspective and tilt distortion. The patent indicates that devices such as iPhones could use built in technology such as the accelerometer, gyroscope or GPS to determine its orientation and distance from the object being photographed, and then use this information to adjust photos that are tilted or skewed.

With the little guys, like Microsoft, Nokia, and Hewlett-Packard, complaining about the auction and the potential for unfair monopolies in the mobile industry, the Justice Department still cleared Apple to bid on Nortel’s existing patents, rumored to be worth well over one billion dollars.

The auction will begin on Monday, after considerable delays due to a “significant level of interest” from potential suitors, including Google, who offered up $900 million for the patents in April.
