Snow Leopard 10.6.8 update posted

Apple released a new update for Snow Leopard. Here are the changes:

  • Enhance the Mac App Store to get your Mac ready to upgrade to Mac OS X Lion
  • Resolve an issue that may cause Preview to unexpectedly quit
  • Improve support for IPv6
  • Improve VPN reliability
  • Identify and remove known variants of Mac Defender

This is more than likely the last big update to Snow Leopard. However, like Leopard before it, 10.6 should continue to have access to security updates after Lion is out next month.

Apple also released Server Admin Tools for Mac OS X 10.6.8.
