iOS 5 may let you natively snap panorama pictures on your iPhone

New beta released, new rumors unveiled by those willing to sleuth their way through the iOS 5 code. Some new Camera features have both the Internet in a tizzy and probably a couple of developers a little bit nervous today.

Apparently Apple is looking into adding a Panorama feature to the Camera application in iOS. We already heard that Camera will do Red-Eye edits, and now with Panorama, the Camera app may just find itself removed from my Crapple folder on my iPhone and iPad.

Right now I toss all of the Apple apps I don’t use and can’t delete into my trusty Crapple folder. Camera has been replaced on my home-screen with Camera+ and Instagram.

As it stands, we don’t know much about Panorama outside of its potential for existence. It doesn’t exist in the iOS 5 beta, and you can’t just hit a button to make it popup. So while it may eventually make its way into an update, it’s not available yet.
