Rumor: new iMacs coming next week with Sandy Bridge and Thunderbolt
AppleInsider is reporting that Apple’s all-in-one desktop is due for an update early next week.
The new machines, according to the site, will be include Thunderbolt, Sandy Bridge processors from Intel and new AMD Radeon HD video cards.
iMacs have been in short supply in the last weeks, indicating an update is in the works. The iMac was last updated July 27, 2010.

These iMacs are super shibby machines, I'd love to have another one. However, I'm not exactly thrilled with the all-in-one design, by anyone, because if one part needs repair, you have to take the whole computer in. If the memory needs fixing or the hard drive needs fixing, you run the risk of breaking the whole thing by taking it in. Some people might not like that.

LikeI received an email from an Apple retailer yesterday, advertising a new generation of iMac.
On the description, they mentioned Intel Core 2nd generation processors.
Also, it was supposed to be available yesterday at 16:30, but they sent another email saying that, due to a supplier delay, they wouldn't be able to start selling the iMac that day.
