The official Twitter for Mac app has just been updated to version 2.2.1 and includes support for Notification Center. Notification Center is now supported for incoming @replies and direct messages so you can more easily be informed on what your followers are tweeting you. The update also includes many fixes for Growl notifications and un-favoriting tweets, amongst other minor things. This is the second time this year that we’ve seen the in-house Twitter app be updated for the Mac. Previously, Twitter for Mac was neglected of updates for months on end, leading many to believe that the app was heading to
There has been a ton of speculation about Apple making a smartwatch, called the “iWatch”, by tech pundits. One analyst has made a prediction that we will see the iWatch in 2014. Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities believes next year will be the year Apple decides to make a wearable computing device. One reason he says that it will come out next year, and not this year, is based on the rumor that Apple will be making big changes to iOS and needs to focus their resources on their mobile OS instead of putting the finishing touches on the iWatch.
Asus has just released a new television ad that attempts to promote the new ASUS VivoTab Smart while bashing Siri and the iPad with Retina Display. Though I don’t drop my iPhone often, it has happened, and the only thing that has saved my mobile connection to the world is my case. As a frequent iPod, iPhone and iPad user, I’ve gone through my fair share of cases and have come to the conclusion that most of them are either bulky, flimsy, or just plan ugly. However, Designed by M aims to fix this issue with its new case: the AL13. The AL13 is a bumper-style case that
The folks at Realmac Software have pushed an update to its popular to-do app Clear. This update has been pushed to both iPhone and Mac users bringing them to version 1.2.2 and 1.0.1 respectively. The update is pretty minor, but it brings one much requested feature to the app: the ability to share lists via email. On the iPhone, simply shake your device while viewing a list to email it. On the Mac, the email option resides in the Actions menu. When you receive a Clear list via email, you will be able to open it on the Clear app
