DaisyDisk 2 available on the Mac App Store

DaisyDisk 2 available on the Mac App Store Daisy Disk, the popular disk application that lets you track down rogue files hidden on your system, has finally made its way to the Mac App Store. Version 2 has been available since the beginning of March, but somehow we missed the news.

The application is fantastic for cleaning up your hard drive and finding large files that could be eating up your storage space with the click of a button.

Version 2 has been completely refitted using Core Animation. The new edition also brings with it FileVault support, twitter integration, a new disk usage gauge, and a ton of performance enhancements.

I’ve personally been using version 1 since 2009, and it’s been worth every penny. I just upgraded, and highly recommend that you do the same.

We're testing out a new service called Spread.Us. Help us share our stories!

The program is nice, but too expensive for what it does. A good free alternative is: http://grandperspectiv.sourceforge.net/
