Apple refunding recent iPad customers $100

| Friday, March 4th, 2011

If you bought an iPad in the last two weeks, and now feel silly, you’ve got some options.

If you want to return the iPad and wait another week for the iPad 2, most retailers (including Apple) accept refunds.

If you want to keep that vintage iPad in hopes of being cool with your suddenly-retro tablet, Apple is willing to refund you $100. Simply take your receipt into an Apple Store or call Apple’s customer service line to get the ball rolling.

The cut-off date for purchase is February 16.

Rumors of this program surfaced yesterday, but with Engadget and CNET reporting it to be true, we feel good that this is indeed happening. If you are one of the few who file for a refund, let us know below!
