MORE/REAL Stylus Cap could turn all your pens into iPad styluses

Apple Inc., iPad, iPhone, Misc. News

I don’t care what anyone says. There are plenty of legitimate reasons to use a stylus with the iPad. While it doesn’t make sense for a lot of day-to-day activities, it’s almost essential when taking notes in class. The problem with a full-fledged stylus is that it’s one more thing to carry around. But, what if you could get a nifty looking Stylus Cap for your pens and sharpies? Would it make more sense at that point?

Don Lehman from Chicago is hoping to make the Stylus Cap a reality through a kickstarter project. The project already has 807 backers, and has almost doubled their goal, with a month to go before the deadline arrives.

What a fantastic idea. If you like the concept, or you’re feeling generous, this would be a great place to donate some cash.

Great idea, but two problems:

Whether it's a stylus or a cap that's a stylus it is still another thing to carry and keep track of, so I don't see a huge benefit there.

Second, and someone else said this somewhere else (I'd credit them if I could remember where), what happens when your in a hurry or not paying attention and you leave it off of the sharpie?
