Apple has passed the $300 billion market cap today.
While there is nothing special about that number, market-wise, it puts Apple in a class shared by only one other company — Exxon Mobile, which is valued at $368 billion.
Apple passed both Walmart and Microsoft last year, and currently is the second-largest corporation based on market cap.
As of this post, a single share of AAPL was trading at $329.85.
